Kar Kache Koi Moner Katha, a one-of-a-kind Bengali television soap started its journey last year. Within a year of existence, K3MK has made its mark with the content of the show that focuses on sisterhood as well as familial relationships. The viewers’ feedback has impacted the TRP charts for many weeks. The storyline has taken a turn recently and Shimul (played by Bengali actress Manali Dey) is a divorced individual now. She has parted ways with her ex-husband Parag. Although Shimul is no longer legally married to Parag now, she doesn’t shy away from showing her concern for her ex-husband. During Shivratri, Shimul observes the auspicious occasion and celebrates it with her friends at a nearby temple. At the temple, she comes across her former mother-in-law Madhubala Devi.

In an upcoming Shivratri special episode, Shimul will be seen in a red and white Bengali traditional saree observing the auspicious occasion. She will be seen celebrating the day as a married woman does, offering prayer to the lord Shiva, and praying for her ex-husband Parag’s well-being. Shimul’s friends are seen by her side. Sucharita and Bipasha accompany her to the temple in red and white saree. At the temple, Shimul’s path crosses with her former mother-in-law Madhubala Devi (played by Bengali actress Rita Dutta Chakraborty). She also turns up at the temple to pray for his son Parag’s well-being. Will this former saas-bahu meeting bring in some positive news in the family?

Kar Kache Koi Moner Katha features some of the most popular faces from the Bengali industry in prominent roles. Besides Manali Dey, Rita Dutta Chakraborty, Sneha Chatterjee, Basabdatta Chattejee, Srijani Mitra, Kuyasha Biswas are vital parts of the show. The soap has an interesting storyline that follows the journey of a newlywed girl (Shimul) who struggles to find her place to belong to her in-law's family. She instead makes unique friendships with her neighbours and by extension – finds solace in sisterhood.
