Popular director Abhimanyu Mukherjee is celebrating his birthday today (March 1). Actress Manali Manisha Dey, aka Shabnam has some special plans to celebrate her beau Abhimanyu’s birthday. The actress, who has stunned the viewers with her acting skills in the show ‘Nakshi Kantha’, has already surprised Abhimanyu with beautiful cake. Abhimanyu got emotional by the gesture as the cake was specially made keeping his love for film in mind.

Both Manali and Abhimanyu are busy with their respective projects. But the lovebirds will be having a romantic dinner tonight. Manali said, “I am in the shooting floor. I will meet Abhimanyu after the pack-up and will have dinner together.”
Manali met the director on the shooting sets of ‘Nimki Phulki’ and they became good friends. Gradually, both fell for each other. The couple is often seen having quality time despite their hectic shoot schedule.
On the work front, Abhimanyu is presently busy with his upcoming film starring Srabanti Chatterjee and Soham. The ‘Bou Kotha Kao’ actress, on the other hand, made her television comeback as a lead with her current project ‘Nakshi Kantha’, which also stars actor Suman Dey. Manali is playing the character of a medical student, who doesn’t hesitate to pursue her dreams or going against her orthodox family.
