'Mithai' shares numero uno spot with 'Alta Phoring' and ' Gantchhora'; here's a look at the top 5 shows of the week

This week’s TRP charts have some interesting changes. The numero uno spot is shared by three shows this time. While Bengali TV’s favourite ‘Mithai’ continues to top the TRP charts, the spot has two more shows. The newly launched show ‘Alta Phoring’ and Gourab Chatterjee-Solanki Roy starrer ‘Gantchhora’ have also bagged the top position on the TRP charts.
Gantchhora’s current storyline revolves around Riddhiman and Khori’s accidental wedding. The past few episodes were full of drama. On the other hand, newly launched TV show ‘Alta Phoring’, narrates the story of a village belle named Phoring whose mom goes missing during a cyclone. Phoring wants to be a gymnast just like her mom. Abhra, a bank employee, saves Phoring from the flood-hit area. The show managed to woo the audience and has been scoring well in terms of TRP.
In ‘Mithai’, the current track is revolving around Modak family’s new enemy Omi and a new conspiracy hatched by Tridibesh.
The second spot on the TRP charts is bagged by ‘Mon Phagun’. The Sean Banerjee and Srijla Guha starrer enjoys a good fan base; thanks to Pihu and Rishi Raj’s sizzling chemistry. TV show ‘Dhulokona’ is in the third spot. The story is currently focusing on Phuljhuri and Lalan’s musical face-off.
Interestingly, ‘Aaye Tobe Sohochori’ has made it into the top 5 for the first time. It has bagged the fourth spot this time. Koneenica Banerjee and Arunima Halder are playing prominent roles in the show.
‘Khukumoni Home Delivery’, which has been airing some high-voltage drama in almost every episode, has slipped down to the fifth spot. ‘Uma’, ‘Aparajita Apu’, ‘Jamuna Dhaki’ have witnessed some dip in terms of TRP.
