Shashurbari Zindabad: Actress Sohini Sanyal to play a mother

The romantic comedy ‘Shashurbari Zindabad’ is all set to start its journey on June 10. The daily soap, which has Aishwarya Sen and Mainak, has a promising cast. Aishwarya will play the character of Mishtu, the youngest member of the Sarkar household while popular actress Sohini Sanyal will play her mother.
The ‘Bokul Kotha’ actress Sohini will be seen playing the character Pratima.Like a doting mother, Pratima will be taking care of Mishtu. The Sarkar family despises men. And the rule isn’t too different for Pratima. The family runs a home delivery business and Pratima takes care of the household and business as well.
The shooting of the daily soap has already started and Sohini is thoroughly enjoying playing such a character. Veteran actress Anuradha Ray is playing Sohini’s mother in this soon-to-be-launched show. Anuradha was her co-star in ‘Bokul Kotha’ too. Interestingly, Anuradha played Sohini’s mother in ‘Bokul Kotha’. It was quite a reunion for both of them.
On the career front, Sohini’s kitty is quite full. She is also playing a meaty role in period drama ‘Simana Periye’.
Coming back to the show ‘Shashurbari Zindabad’, the daily soap also includes Rajat Ganguly, Mallicka Majumder, Kaushik Chakraborty and others. Mainak (Kingshuk) will be seen playing Mishtu’s love interest. But his family won’t accept the relationship as they hate women. It will be quite a journey, as Mishtu and Kingshuk try to convince their family about their relationship.
