Siddharth Sen bags the male lead in ‘Phaguner Mohona’

Bengali television is set to welcome a long list of new shows across genres. One among these is, Annmary Tom starrer ‘Phaguner Mohona’. The first glimpse of the upcoming show featuring village belle Rumjhum, who is a die-hard fan of film star Ayush, was recently shared by the channel. While the female lead was revealed, fans were eager to know who might play Ayush in ‘Phaguner Mohona’.The role has been bagged by actor Siddharth Sen. He is a fitness enthusiast from Mumbai.
The young actor impressed the makers with his performance during the audition and bagged the lead role. Ever since the first glimpse of ‘Phaguner Mohona’ went on-air, Tolly para was abuzz with the probable names of the actors who might play the male lead in the show.
Siddharth will play the role of a star, who is hugely successful in his movie career. Name and fame made him an arrogant person. Story’s female protagonist is a bubbly village girl whose life revolves around her idol Ayush. The latter, on the other hand, doesn’t really know about his ardent fan. To him, Rumjhum is just another face in the crowd. Rumjhum leaves her village in search of her idol. Whether she becomes successful in her mission and how she survives in the city, make the main crux of the story.
Annmary, who made her television debut with ‘Gramer Rani Binapani’ and was paired opposite actor Honey Bafna, will essay Rumjhum’s character. The show has an ensemble star cast that includes artists Kaushik Banerjee, Tulika Basu, Kalyani Mondal, Sanjib Sarkar, Chandreyee Ghosh, Sagnik Chatterjee, Lekha Chatterjee, Anamika Chakraborty and others.
