Sourav Ganguly, Raj Chakraborty and other celebs mourn the demise of legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne

Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne’s sudden demise has left cricket lovers across the world in deep shock. One of the greatest cricketers passed away on Friday in Thailand. Reports suggest, he was on a holiday in Koh Samui, Thailand and suffered a heart attack. Cricket lovers across the world are deeply saddened by the loss. From commoners to celebrities; condolence messages are pouring in for the cricket legend.
Former Captain of Indian Cricket Team and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, who has many experiences with the late spinner on 22 yards, is also shocked by the news.Walking down the memory lane, Sourav shared throwback photos with Shane Warne, one of them was from an IPL match. Terming Shane as one of the greatest cricketers, he wrote on his Instagram handle, ‘Can't believe this ..one of the greatest ..life is so unpredictable..one must realise health is most important then anything else and there is no compromise on that..’

Director and producer Raj Chakraborty, who is quite passionate when it comes to cricket, also remembered the ace cricketer. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote: ‘Life is so fickle! You will always be alive in our hearts! Rest in Peace Spin Legend!’

Actor-turned politician Kanchan Mullick is taken aback by the news. He took to his social media handle and shared a note remembering the ace cricketer who redefined spin bowling, ‘Sad to hear the news of the premature death of Mr Shane Warne. He was a legend of international cricket.. May his soul rest in peace.’

Rahul Dev Bose also took to his social media account and wrote, ‘Rest in Peace, Shane Warne. A legend of the game. Gone too soon.’

Actor Abhishek Veer Sharma, who was among Shane Warne’s numerous fans, is pained by the loss. He wrote, ‘Can’t believe you are no more. The king of spins will be missed’.
The legendary cricketer picked 708 wickets in Test Cricket and is the second cricketer after Muttiah Muralitharan who has a record of picking 800 test wickets.
