'The Office' is all set to be revived but sans Steve Carell

According to a report, the network hopes to revive the beloved mockumentary series for the 2018-19 season, and it would feature a combination of returning cast members from the original series as well as new cast members.

Steve Carell, who starred as Michael Scott, would not be part of the revival.

Based on Ricky Gervais' hit British comedy of the same name, "

The Office

" ran on

from 2005 to 2013, winning the outstanding Emmy comedy in 2006.
