'Today’ show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy Guthrie possibly kidnapped, reported missing over the weekend

She was last seen around 9:30 PM in her home in Arizona, after which no one has been able to get in contact with her. The statement further added that, “At this point, investigators believe she was taken from the home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night. Taken against her will includes possible kidnapping or abduction.” The sheriff of the county further added that “We know, at least we believe, and I believe we know, she did not walk out of that home on her own.”In the statement, it was also shared that while Guthrie’s physical mobility was limited, she was self aware and strong. “Here you have this lady who's got all her wits about her, she knows what's going on. So yeah, somebody came into that home, and I believe took her out there without her permission. It was against her will,” the statement further revealed.It was also revealed that nearby security footage and CCTV clips are being analysed by the authorities to find out what happened on the night of January 31. The ‘Today’ show also covered Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, with Savannah’s longtime friend Jenna Bush Hager appearing on the show. She revealed that Nancy was on daily medications and needed all of them to function properly. “She’s without her medication so we are thinking of our dearest, dearest Savannah and her whole family right now. Our prayers obviously go out to Savannah and the entire family,” she added.
