I enjoyed doing both Gujarati TV shows and films: Jayaka Yagnik

Vadodara girl Jayaka Yagnik, who recently signed her first Bollywood film Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara directed by Monjoy Mukherjee, says that her stint in Gujarati TV shows as well as films has made her a better performer and the experience will help her in the future. Says Jayaka, who has done serials like Chhuta Chheda and Narsinh Mehta in the past and was seen in the urban Dhollywood comedy Aapne To Dhirubhai, “This is an era of multi-tasking and you have got to do both television and films to better yourself as an actor.I enjoyed my television stint as well as doing a Gujarati film, and I feel there is a lot of scope as far as Gujarati serials are concerned. I feel things are changing for the better.”
