,who is currently seen playing the role of Varun Dev in

Vighnaharta Ganesha

, is emotional about his show wrapping up in a few weeks. He had joined the cast just a month ago and this news has come has a shock to him. He says, "The show is running for the last four years. I joined the cast a month back and I was happy shooting for the show. When I first got to know that the show is going off air, I was almost numb. It was very upsetting because I had just joined the cast. And I was told that the show would go on for a while. So this was totally unexpected."

But he is much better now and has accepted it as a part of life. So what's next, we ask. "I am shooting for another TV show Baal Shiv and it should be on air some time soon. I am focusing on

OTT

too. It's been three to four years that I am doing television, so now I want to try web shows."

Talking about his acting journey, Aaditya reveals, "I never planned to be a TV actor but it just happened. I belong to

Chhattisgarh

and I went to Delhi to try my luck in theatre a few years ago. But some time later I gave it up. Five years ago when I was just 19, I came to Mumbai to just see the city and roam around. But then I thought of giving auditions and trying my luck. I again got inclined towards acting and I convinced my family to let me pursue acting. My mother supported me. I then shifted to Mumbai."

What he didn't know until recently was that his late father wanted to be actor.
"I lost my dad when I was very young and just some time back my mother told me that my father also had a dream of coming to Mumbai and becoming an actor. Little did I know that I would be fulfilling his dream unknowingly," says Aaditya
