Abhi-Ash denied entry on KBC

Bachchan junior tells why he and Ash weren’t allowed on the sets of KBC as contestants...
Sticking to the tradition of stars using popular reality and game shows to promote their films, KBC season 4 too saw many celebs scratching their brains as they attempted to test their IQ and GK by taking the hot seat.
Abhishek and Aishwarya however were surprisingly not seen on the show even once.While Ash’s entire Action Replayy cast came on KBC, one was left wondering why the host’s bahu was missing. Abhishek’s absence too was felt.
While promoting his latest film directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, Abhishek told TOI, “I am family so as per the rules of the game show (KBC), I or any family member was not allowed to be a contestant. Can you believe it, not allowed? I’d have loved to be on the hot seat.”
Abhishek even joked, “Wish dad would have intervened but unfortunately as the host, there is very little he can do about the rules.”
Aishwarya couldn’t be on KBC for the same reason.
