Abhishek Kapur, aka
Kundali Bhagya’s Samir, was in Noida recently and got chatting with DT about what he loves about the city. “Whenever I visit my home in Delhi, I always make sure to also visit Noida as a couple of my friends are here. Coming from Mumbai, Noida feels so spacious and big, with such wide roads and great infrastructure,” he says.
The actor is on a high as his show is close to completing 600 episodes.
“Right now, we are at the 580th episode and within three weeks, we will complete 600 episodes, which is an admirable feat. I have been associated with the show for a little more than two years and the response has been great,” he says.
Talking about his fan following, the actor says, “It is great to be connected with fans on social media. I keep getting many messages on social media. Since I am single, I get a lot of attention from female fans. Though I am not able to reply to all of them, I make sure to have live chats with my fans from time to time. It is very important for an actor to have a good social media presence these days.”
When asked whether the TV content needs to change to adapt to changing times, he says, “The audience of TV is so different that if we change the content, it will not work. Content that may be shown on a web series will never work on TV and vice-versa. So, I don’t think TV content needs to change as of now”.
