Abhishek Kumar reacts to rumours of unfollowing Samarth Jurel and current equation with ex-GF Isha Malviya
Abhishek Kumar, who recently reunited with ex-girlfriend Isha Malviya for Pati Patni Aur Panga, was in the news for his fallout with former foe-turned-friend Samarth Jurel after reports of them unfollowing each other on Instagram went viral. Netizens speculated that Isha Malviya might be the reason behind their fallout, as Abhishek collaborated with her once again on-screen for a music video. However, recently talking to a paparazzi page Viral Bhayani, Abhishek clarified the reports and also spoke about his current equation with Ex-Isha Malviya.
Speaking about unfollowing Samarth and rift between their friendship, Abhishek said, "No we have not unfollowed each other because in the first place we never followed each other on Instagram. The friendship is still there and we are still friends. Samarth even wished me on my birthday. Also we were always very good co-stars and off-screen we never spent that much time together. We hardly spoke to each other off-screen and it was with all the actors. Like, I get along well with Bharti ji, I’ve a very close bond with her but I’m not always in touch with her as she also has her personal things. We speak on-off and it is the same with Samarth, he wished me on my birthday and he knew I was working on Pati Patni Aur Panga. We keep chatting about our upcoming projects.
During the interview, Abhishek also revealed that his mother was not happy with him working again with ex-Isha Malviya, "Yes, my mom was not okay with me working with Isha again. She was a little upset but then I made her understand, the channel also spoke to her and everyone made her understand. There was a little pressure but at the end we were like kitni baar kaam ke liye mana karenge. Isha and I got an offer right after we came out of Bigg Boss. But now when everything is done and dusted we decided to do the project," he concluded.
For the uninitiated, Isha and Abhishek first crossed paths while working on Udaariyaan, where their bond gradually turned into love. However, their relationship soon hit a rough patch, leading to an ugly breakup. Later, both participated in Bigg Boss 17, where Isha’s then-boyfriend Samarth Jurel also joined, further complicating their dynamics. After the show, Isha and Samarth parted ways, while Abhishek and Samarth surprisingly developed a strong friendship and even teamed up as cooking partners on Laughter Chefs.
