Actor Urmimala Sinha Roy to join Mere Sai; the actress to play a grey character for the first time

TV actress Urmimala Sinha Roy is joining the cast of Mere Sai. The upcoming track will revolve around the separation between a family because of the greed of one family member; Amba will be seen portraying the role of Urmimala. The actress has earlier been a part of one of the most popular shows like Ayushman Bhava and a series on web.
From Ketki Dave to Kishori Godbole, Mere Sai has seen remarkable actors playing prominent roles in the show.Mere Sai- Shraddha aur Saburi has made its mark among the audience since the day of its inception and has been followed religiously. The show always brings tracks that are relatable and act as lessons for the viewers.
The actor described her character as a religious fanatic and very devout in her beliefs. The actor said, “My character of Amba in Mere Sai is a devotee of Sai Baba. She gets influenced by her neighbor and becomes the reason for fights and separation of her family. It is the first time I am playing a grey character who is wrong as well as right. Infact, for the first time I will be seen playing a Maharashtrian character. In real life also my family and I are followers of Sai baba and every year we visit Shirdi. I am very excited to be a part of this show.”
The upcoming track is about a girl who becomes the reason of separation between the family by creating misunderstandings between her brother. Her actions result in not only separation of the property but also of the parents. Then Sai baba makes her realise her mistakes and helps her undo the wrong.
