Alibaba Dastaan-E-Kabul actress Tunisha Sharma, 20, dies by suicide, police says ' co-actors will be questioned'

Actress Tunisha Sharma, who played the character of Shehzaadi Mariam in Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul, died by suicide today (December 24). According to reports, the actress went to bathroom in Sheezan's make up room but when she did not return an hour later the crew went to check on her and found the actress dead. She was just 20.
According to Waliv police, Tunisha hung herself to a fan in one of the makeup rooms. She was rushed to the hospital immediately where she was declared brought dead. When ETimes TV called up her mother, one of her relatives confirmed the news of her death.
A police inspector, who is on the sets, told ETimes TV: "The body is in hospital, investigation is on. Her co-stars on the sets will be questioned."
With the latest development of the case, the police official stated, "Tunisha's body will be taken to JJ Hospital for further investigation." The JJ Hospital is situated in southern part of Mumbai at Mohd Ali road.
A senior police official further said: "There is a Ramdev Studio in Naigaon where the shoot was on. Then there was a break between the shots when this actress went to bathroom and then she hanged herself there. People on the sets rushed her to the hospital where she was declared brought dead. It is primary information. Our team is on the spot and they are investigating. We will take everyone's statement."
The 20-year-old actress began her career with the historical show, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. She was also part of shows like Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Gabbar Poonchwala, Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Internet Wala Love and Ishq Subhan Allah. Not just films, the actress also worked in Bollywood films like Fitoor, Baar Baar Dekho, Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh, and Dabangg 3.
Bigg Boss 15 contestant and actor Karan Kundra tweeted: "Shocking and extremely sad.. such a young and promising life gone too soon. I pray to god to give her loved ones strength #TunishaSharma Om Shanti 🙏🏼 it’s my request to everyone: there’s always light at the end of a dark tunnel never forget.."

Actor Karanvir Bohra also expressed grief on her demise.

The actress posted videos and pictures from sets a few hours before taking her life.

Ashish Sharma and Arjun Bijlani are also shocked after hearing the news and the actors took to twitter to express their feelings.

Her mother has told cops that Tunisha was suffering in the relationship and that could have led her to take the extreme step. Tunisha's mobile phone has been taken into custody by the police. Sheezan is currentlly arrested by police and has been taken for medical examination. Her close friends Kanwar Dhillon is in a state of shock and burst into tears after hearing of the tragic news.
