Anirudha Dave gets engaged to the girl who vowed to never marry him

Those who are meant to be together, end up together even if their paths cross in the most unconventional way.
The 'Yam Hain Hum' actor, Aniruddh Dave’s engagement, which happened on July 13 in Rajasthan, had a rather filmi story preceding it. His fiancee, Shubhi Ahuja, who plays Manisha in 'Badii Devrani', has shared screen space with him in 'Bandhan'. What’s interesting is that Shubhi vowed to never marry him in their first meeting.But wait, that was for a scene in the show.
Says Aniruddh, “She had to slap me and throw a ring on my face saying that she’d rather remain single than marry someone like me. And here, we are engaged in real life and set to be tied up in a ‘bandhan’ soon.”

The two didn’t speak much during the shoot. It’s their parents who arranged the match. Their roka (engagement) happened last month. “Her mother knew my parents through Shubhi’s relatives. They were keen on us getting married and even I felt that the time was right for me to settle down in life,” he says.
With the couple all set to be the latest tellytown pair to tie the knot, the actor says, “It should happen by this year end. I would like to have a destination wedding, but I am prepared for anything. I had never imagined we would end up together.”
