, is all set to be part of the new show Parineetii that stars
Tanvi Dogra
and
Anchal Sahu
in lead roles alongside Ankur. This one is special for
Ankur
because he plays the main lead here for the first time.
He says excitedly, "It's such an amazing feeling to play a lead role and I'm grateful to God. Not many would know but I have played a cameo in
Kumkum Bhagya. I shot just for a day. So from playing a cameo to a lead role, it has been an emotional journey for me. Some people feel people who come from outside can't make it big, but I am an example now that we can make our space here."
Ankur is from Haryana and he went to college in Delhi. He came to Mumbai to pursue his acting dream in 2018. He shares, "People say that once you play a supporting or a cameo role, you can't get a lead role, all that is just in one's mind. If you let yourself get typecast, then it's difficult to break free from that. If you have the talent and works towards your goal, then no one can stop you."
Meanwhile, he is all set for his show Parineetii. Elaborating on his role, he says, "This is a fiction drama which is filled with emotions. The two girls are best friends since childhood and without each other's approval they won't even marry, their friendship is that strong. But due to certain situations, they both have to marry the same guy and that's my character. This show will take you on rollercoaster ride."
