Anupamaa update, October 4: Vanraj gets jealous on seeing Anupamaa and Anuj perform puja together

The episode of Anupamaa begins with Leela getting furious after knowing about the puja. Vanraj criticises Anupamaa as he reads her name on the invitation card along with Anuj's name. Anupamaa shuts him down by giving a befitting reply. Anupamaa corrects Vanraj and tells him that they are just sharing names on the invitation card and nothing else.
Anupamaa requests Leela to accompany her to the puja.Leela tears the invitation card. Anupamaa gets emotional and tells her that she will wait for her at the venue. Leela gets shocked after listening to Anupamaa's reply. Hasmukh tells Leela that she only calls Anupamaa by the word 'daughter' but never considered her to be her daughter in reality. Anupamaa leaves.
Leela tells the Shahs that no one will go to the puja tomorrow. Hasmukh says that he will go. Mama ji, Samar, Kinjal, and Pakhi also decide to accompany Anupamaa to the puja.
Kavya instigates Leela and Vanraj and says that in few days Anupamaa and Anuj will even marry each other.
Anuj gets restless as he waits for Anupamaa. Devika and GK make fun of him. Anupamaa and the Shahs arrive. Anuj is stunned to see Anupamaa as her beauty enchants him.
Pakhi says that Anuj and Anupamaa wore matching outfits. Anuj gets happy after listening to Pakhi's words. Anuj takes a selfie with Anupamaa.
Samar thanks Anuj for giving Anupamaa all the respect she deserved. Anuj also makes a promise to Samar that he will always be Anupamaa's support system.
Meanwhile, Kinjal appreciates Devika and says that everyone should have a friend like her.
Anuj and Anupamaa sit together for the puja. Vanraj enters the venue. He gets jealous on seeing them together.
