Anupamaa update, January 5th: Differences and distance weaken Anuj and Anupamaa's marriage

In today’s episode of Anupamaa, Hasmukh tells Anupama that she was trying to strike a balance between her two children, who are spoiled brats and nature's magic, as well as Leela, who is a disgrace to womanhood. He advises her to leave them alone and focus on her house, her husband, and her daughter.
He tells Anupamaa that he loves her, but the Shah family and their problems are not his, and neither is Anupamaa.He claims to understand Anupamaa's emotions, but he believes they are causing problems in his marriage.
Leela shouted at Kavya for making a scene at Kapadia's house. Kavya says she is following in her footsteps. Leela complains about Kavya to Vanraj and Hasmukh asks her to keep quiet. Vanraj says that whatever Anuj said was true and he will from now on take up his family's responsibilities and not disturb them.
Anupamaa approaches Anuj. Anuj wonders how sadness entered their relationship, and if he was too slow in conveying his message to her. Anuj expresses a desire to be alone for a period of time.
Ankush, on the other hand, becomes drunk. Barkha disagrees, claiming that they did not come here to drink. Barkha says she is embarrassed by her husband's failure. Ankush asks Barkha what has she done as a wife for him. Barkha claims she purchased expensive hotel passes in order to relax rather than fight. Leela invites Hasmukh to sleep inside. Hasmukh refuses, claiming that it would have been better for him to die.
