Anupamaa update, October 27: Anuj and Anupamaa succeed in getting Sonu arrested

Dimpy tells Pakhi that Barkha has informed her of her infertility. Pakhi loses her cool and interprets it incorrectly. Pakhi mocks Dimpy for being pregnant and holds her accountable for stealing Samar away from the family. Dimpy becomes emotional after hearing Pakhi's words. Pakhi is upset and comforts Dimpy. Dimpy then confides in Pakhi, telling her that she is worried about her future and her kid.She tells Pakhi that, while she has familial support, she is ultimately alone.
Pakhi calms Dimpy and advises her to consider her future before making a decision regarding her life and the baby. Dimpy understands Pakhi's motivation and believes that being a single mother is a difficult option. Anupama and Devika search the house for Anuj, but Malti Devi informs them that he has left. Malti Devi is concerned about Anuj and Anupama's scheme. Meanwhile, Anuj comes and goes in search of Anupama. Malti Devi tells him that Anupama is still in her room.

Anupama arrives as Sonu Rathod celebrates his triumph with his pals. Devika is concerned since Anuj has not arrived at the planned place. Meanwhile, Anuj searches his residence for Anupama, and Romil informs him that Anupama and Devika have fled. Anuj questions Malti Devi about why she told him Anupama was in the room. Malti Devi informed Anuj that she had thought Anupama had not departed.
Anuj flees the Kapadia residence in fear. Romil confronts Malti Devi about lying and reminds her that if anything goes wrong with their plan, she would be held accountable. Malti Devi wishes for the success of their goal. Devika is waiting for Anuj and is concerned that he has not arrived at the spot. Anupama has a heated conversation with Sonu and invites him to participate in her truth and dare game.
Anupama challenges Sonu to reveal the truth and accuses him of lacking the confidence to carry out the challenge. Anupama criticizes Sonu for declining the dare and his father, Suresh Rathod, for handing him a gun. Sonu and Anupama got into a verbal brawl. Anuj becomes concerned when he realizes Anupama and Devika are alone in the vicinity of Sonu.

Anupama provokes Sonu into pointing his gun at her and accuses his companions of being cowards. Anupama calls Sonu a coward and criticizes his father, Suresh. He informs Sonu that because he is a coward, she does not believe he killed Samar. Sonu loses his cool when he sees Anupama and aims a gun at her. Devika panics because she believes Anuj and the cops have not arrived.
Sonu is told to shoot Anupama. Sonu then confesses to murdering Samar with the same rifle. Anupama loses her cool and confronts Sonu over killing Samar. Sonu points his rifle at Anuj as he approaches. He admits that he wanted to assassinate Anuj that day, but Samar was killed. Sonu threatens both Anuj and Anupama with death. He then shoots, and Anupama comes to Anuj's rescue.
Sonu is told by the cops that there are hidden cameras in the cafe and that everything has been filmed. Sonu is informed by the police that his confession of killing Samar has been taped. Sonu is warned by the cop that no one will be able to help him. Sonu is taken with the cop. Anupama becomes sad as she sees Samar smile after finally getting justice for him. Devika informs Anuj that he and the officers arrived on time. Anupama, Anuj, and Devika are overjoyed since Sonu has been apprehended at the auspicious festival of Dussehra. The episode concludes.
