Actress Malini Kapoor, popularly remembered for featuring in TV shows like
Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan and Balika Vadhu, shared she would love to participate in the upcoming season of Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show Bigg Boss along with her husband, actor
Ajay Sharma.
She says, "I'm open to participating in Bigg Boss. After working in fiction for years, I feel it’s a perfect time to explore reality TV too.
I don't really know if I can survive in that environment as I'm dearest at home, both my family and in-laws take some extra care of me and adore me so much, so in a way that environment will be so challenging for me. But I would love to give it a try. If Ajay joins me we both can be a bomb for the show. Audience will get to see so much masala (blinks)."
Malini and Ajay became friends after working in a show, Love You Zindagi and after marriage they also again featured together in Y.A.R.O Ka Tashan. The couple is very much active on social media too.
She shares, "We are very active on social media and it all started during the pandemic when nobody was shooting or working. Hence we decided to run a series called Pati Patni Aur show, just to spread some humour and to keep us alive as actors. And surprisingly by the grace of God most of the videos from the series have gone majorly viral. That shows that our content is being loved by the masses. And that gives us the encouragement to produce more stuff like this. Online and off-line we do have a superb chemistry because we are great friends too in real life."
She says, ,"My journey as a celebrity influencer and mommy influencer started as soon as I embraced motherhood. As I never really hide anything, not even my baby bump, So I believe in living a life without filters and that makes me a perfect contestant for Bigg Boss."
The actress, who was last seen in a few episodes of Maddam Sir, wants to resume her work. She says, "I am absolutely ready to get back to my sets where I get to perform in a very strong and meaningful role to entertain my audience. The maternity break is finally over and I think my son Kiyan is old enough to be left at home. So, I finally want to get back to work now. Looking for some nice important roles. And if OTT happens to me I will be more than happy."
