Bhavna Purohit to play Gopi's sister

We reported exclusively about the entry of Gopi’s parents in Saath Nibhana Saathiya to be played by actors Jaya Ojha (last seen in Sasural Simar Ka) and Sanjeev Bhatt, who was seen in Ayushmann Khurrana’s Nautanki Saala.
And now we hear that Gopi’s sister has started shooting too. The character named Radha will be played by lesser-known actress Bhavna Purohit.Earlier, it was rumoured that actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who plays Gopi, will be seen as her sister also. However, the makers have finalised Bhavna to play the part. The family, who lost Gopi years ago, will finally reunite with her and a new twist will take place in the story.
Says a source, “Since Madhuben (Gopi’s mother) lost Gopi years ago, she is extremely careful about the younger daughter. She fears losing her too and hence keeps her by her side always. She literally ties her hand to her pallu in order to ensure that she is always in her vicinity.”
