Zubair Khan entered the Bigg Boss 11 house as a commoner and sparked some major controversy in the initial episodes.
Zubair claimed to be Haseena Parkar's son in law and when he entered the house. He said that he has entered the house to get his kids back and send a message to them.
Zubair Said that his kids were wrongly taken away from him. Throughout the show he even spoke about his connections to absconding gangster Dawood Ibrahim.
On the first day itself, Zubair cracked a publicly in-acceptable joke and ended up fighting with Sapna Chaudhary. Throughout the week, Zubair created a lot of problems for the inmates as he hurled abuses at them often.

Some of the contestants were sick of him because of his language and behaviour while some of them kept their distance. Zubair was nominated by the other contestants in the first week itself
Zubair also claimed that he had produced the Shraddha Kapoor starrer film Haseena Parker. The real producers of the film rubbished his claims and have lodged a police complaint against Zubair.
In the weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 11, Salman Khan confronted him for his behaviour in the house. Zubair had a big fight with him and was insulted for his eyebrow-raising behaviour and attitude towards others.
Zubair got so depressed after the incident that he overdosed on sleeping pills and was then taken out of the house for medical checkups. Salman Later announced that he has been eliminated from the show and got the least amount of votes.
But as soon as Zubair got out of the house, he lodged a FIR against Salman Khan for threatening him and also claimed that Bigg Boss was scripted as he was given scripts by Bigg Boss.
