Bigg Boss 13’s Devoleena Bhattacharjee gets birthday treat from fans at an old-age home in Assam

Bigg Boss 13 fame Devoleena Bhattacharjee had celebrated her birthday on August 22, on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi. The actress, who is here in Mumbai away from her family, was flooded with birthday messages and gifts from fans, family and friends.
The actress spoke about celebrating her birthday away from family by saying, “This has been my first birthday that I'm away from my family.They all are in Assam. I'm alone here in Mumbai. Because of Covid pandemic, I didn’t consider traveling back Assam or allow them to travel here. So this birthday only my Bappa is giving me his company. We are enjoying our time. It’s a festive birthday."

Apart from being flooded with birthday messages from fans, family and friends, Devoleena also received a special surprise from her fans in Assam. A few of her fans, hosted a birthday party for Devoleena at an old-age home in Assam. Speaking about the same, she shared, “This came to me as surprise as I already told my fans to not send me gifts because of the pandemic and wasting money on gifts won’t be great choice. Instead, they planned together to host my birthday party at old age home in Assam. They organised a cake cutting and lunch for those beautiful ladies. I was really pleased. I got to know all about these via social media post and I'm really proud."

Devoleena Bhattacharjee and her fans together run the organization named ‘Devoleena Bhattacharjee Helping Hands’. They serve helps to people in need. Earlier they donated together for Bihar and Assam floods.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee is still remember for playing iconic character of Gopi Bahu in TV show ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ and she earned huge amount of fandom during her stint in Bigg Boss 13.
