Bigg Boss fame Kashmera Shah on casting couch: I faced it, but never went through with it

Bigg Boss fame Kashmera Shah is on a photo-sharing spree on her Instagram account. The reality TV star and actress is walking down the memory lane during this lockdown period and sharing her throwback pictures. Those pictures are as bold as Kashmera’s personality. Even at 47, she is fit and sexy and a proud mother of twin sons – Rayaan and Krishaang. “I have been posting my sexy pictures, doing bold photo shoots and bold roles in films for many years now. I posted this picture with Manek Bedi particularly to tell people that around two decades ago, photographers did not have editing options in their cameras and therefore, one had to be really fit and look sexy for such photo shoots. This particular picture was shot in 1998 or 1999 by Dabboo Ratnani and I think I looked perfect in it. Today, there are kids, who are not even five years in the industry and want to know about our work in the past. I feel it is important to show these pictures to these actors, who have no idea about what we were capable of and how much hard work went into doing photo shoots. This picture was appreciated a lot back then. In fact, if you consider it today, except Malaika Arora, I am the only actress from that era, who looks like a yummy mummy and continues to have that sex appeal.” (Photo: Instagram)

Speaking about this, Kashmera Shah said, “I have played the hot and bold heroine, but I was never a slutty heroine, who was part of C or D grade films. There are some morphed pictures of mine on the internet and I wish there was some legal procedure to sue the people, who post these morphed pictures. But yes, I have done bold photo shoots. When I played that sexy role in 'Yess Boss', it was the decade of doing such striking roles. During such bold shoots, I was always surrounded by women designers and photographers. I never did a nude shoot, I always kept myself limited to bikini shoots. This, however, does not mean that I look down on individuals, who pose nude for shoots. (Photo: Instagram)

Kashmera Shah reveals Krushna fell for her because of her physical attractiveness, too. “One of the reasons Krushna fell for me, was my sexiness and for any relationship to be alive, I believe physical attraction is a must. “The casting couch has been a part of every industry. I faced it, but never went through with it. And, thankfully, filmmakers believed in my talent and didn’t replace me. I have worked with reputed filmmakers such as Ram Gopal Varma, Aziz Mirza and Mahesh Manjrekar among others, and I am proud of my filmography.
