Delnaaz Irani, who is currently busy shooting for her daily soap ‘Jee Le Zara’ plans to celebrate Parsi New Year today (18th August 2013) despite of her hectic schedule. She says, "I am a Parsi and I am proud to be one. I think Parsi’s are very fun loving and happy community. I relate to my community in every sense of the word. They are very forgiving, big hearted and charitable people who go out of way to help people in need. They know it’s nice to be important but more important to be nice.”
When asked, how she spent her day, the actress said, “I went to fire temple for prayers and had a special lunch cooked by my mother Roda especially for me. I love Margina Farcha, Patrani machi, Lal Dal, Mutton Pulav, Salli Boti and Laganu Custard which my mother prepares for me on this special occasion"
On being asked, how she feels about her career she says, "I am in a happy state. I am doing television show. My play
Hear No Evil Speak no Evil...is also doing very well. I want to do films too. I am thankful to God for taknig care of me. God doesn’t have an answering machine but he takes each call personally. I wish everyone a happy Parsi new year,” concludes Delnaaz
