Dipika Kakar returns home after cyst removal surgery; breaks down emotionally thanking fans ‘Ruhaan ki mummy jaldi theek hojaaye’
Dipika Kakar recently faced a new health scare after her liver cancer treatment last year. The actress was diagnosed with a 1.3 cm cyst in her liver and underwent surgery for its removal. She is finally home after her three day medical procedure. She has now uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel and shared a health update with her fans. Dipika revealed that she became emotional after the surgery because she had to bear “excruciating pain.”
She also revealed in the vlog that she was very nervous and anxious before the medical procedure and was in tears. She further opened up about the intense discomfort she experienced after regaining consciousness.
Dipika shared, “This time when I came to my senses, I was in a lot of pain. Of course, all the treatments start. But after coming to my senses this time, the pain of half an hour was too much. And when you come to your senses suddenly, you can’t even give medicines. But time has passed. Now this is a phase of recovery."
She said her doctors did everything they could to help her relax and feel at ease.
“I was very nervous. I was crying a lot. The doctors calmed me down. This time my procedure was not done in the OT. It was done in the CT room. It’s a process called RFA. They burned my cyst. And because it was very small in size, we were able to do this. If it was bigger, the procedure would have been more difficult. Thank God, we found out at the right time. And we could do the procedure smoothly. I came back home in three days,” she said.
Later in the video, Dipika revealed that although she is recovering well, she is still experiencing pain. She said, “I still have pain here and there. And of course, it will remain. If the wound is burned, as it heals, the effect of the pain changes. It’s less than before. But now this pain is different. But even if I try to move, it still hurts."
Dipika further got emotional in the video expressing gratitude to her fans and well-wishers for their constant support. She thanked them for praying for her and standing by her during this challenging time.
She broke down thanking her fans and said, "Joh himmat mujhe aap logon ke comments dete hain ke aap bahot strong ho, sab sahi hoga, aap tension mat lo, Ruhaan ke sadge se sab sahi hoga, Ruhaan ki mummy theek hojaaye, ye sab mere liye bahot valur rakhta hai."
