Ekta Kapoor celebrates 10 years of Bade Achhe Lagte Hai; calls it ‘An ode to mature love story’

Ekta Kapoor is celebrating 10 years of her successful and immensely popular TV show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. The show which featured Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in the lead roles, was not an ordinary love story. It was a mature love story between the two and garnered immense love.
The maker took to social media thanking the actors and her team for creating such a show. Sharing a video clip from BALH, she wrote, “Ten years of #badeachchelagtehai! Irony that I heard this this morning so much love was experienced in this one! An ode to mature love! Thanku ram Sakshi mitu sony Sneha danish Ajay Prashant bhat Sandip Doris n d whole team.”

Ram Kapoor had once stated that if he had to ever pick three things that could be his career highlights, Bade Acche Lagte Hain would make it to that list.Last year, when the show’s rerun was aired during the lockdown, Ram had stated, “If I had a choice to restart a show all over again, it would be this one.”
The show was based on the Gujarati play Patrani by Imtiaz Patel. It also starred Sumona Chakravarti, Chahatt Khanna, Samir Kochhar, Shubhavi Choksey and many others.
