Exclusive - Aakash Ahuja on Thapki Pyaar Ki 2 going off air: I believe now TV shows will also work on episodic segregation

Television show Thapki Pyaar Ki 2 is soon going to go off air, and on the last day of the shoot (March 29), ETimes TV exclusively caught up with Aakash Ahuja, and discussed his feelings and emotions related to the show. Aakash, who played the role of Purab Singhania on the show, wanted to make the most of the last day of the shoot.
"Yes, it was a heavy day and I shot it remembering that it is going to be the last day on set.But at the same time it was the last day so I had a blast with the team," said the actor.
Ask him what he's going to miss the most, Aakash shared, "The one person I am going to miss the most is Purab Singhania. And again the cast and crew obviously. Most importantly my green room, where I used to spend my time painting in between breaks."
Giving his view about TV shows' short life-span, Aakash opined, "I believe now TV shows will also work on episodics segregation for short term seasons." Being the last day on the set, Aakash shared about the atmosphere on the set. He said, "It was the last day so yes everyone was a tad bit emotional. But yes it was a happy ending and I will remember it."
With Thapki Pyaar Ki 2 going off air, what's next for the lad? "I am thinking of taking a short break but if any scripts work out in my favour then obviously I will be seen in a new avatar."
