Aman Maheshwari has garnered praise for his character Nakul in Anupamaa, the actor chose the show over two hit shows with some interesting characters to offer. Aman exclusively shared about being approached for the negative lead in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and the second lead in Teri Meri Doriyaann.

Aman shared, "I was approached for the negative lead in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin post leap.
But I chose to pick Anupamaa and when you are doing such a hit show there isn't any way I could do something else. We are already caught up with the high-voltage track in the show."
He further spoke about being offered Teri Meri Doriyaann, "So before Anupamaa, I was approached to play the character of Garry in Teri Meri Doriyaann, but I wanted to do something different and then Anupamaa happened. Tushar is playing Garry and he is surely doing well with the character and show."
When asked about his character Nakul, Aman shared, "I am so happy that I got a chance to play Nakul. I always wanted to play a character where I could dance as I am a trained dancer. But I have received training in Western dance forms. With Nakul, I got a chance to learn classical. It is not easy to learn the dance form but I feel fortunate that I could learn a new dance form with the show."
Aman shares a great bond with Apara Mehta, he quipped, "I don't even need glycerin to perform emotional scenes with her. She is such a fine actress that I feel blessed to work with her. I have learnt a lot from her. To share the screen with Apara ma'am itself is a miraculous moment for me."
