The world is already in the first week of 2026, and everyone is working with renewed energy and enthusiasm. Actor Rinku Dhawan, who is currently seen in Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa, welcomed the new year with her heart full of gratitude.
Talking about her expectations and goals in 2026, she said, "The expectation is to be brilliant, and I am happy with the work I am doing. Even if things move at a slow pace, it is great. Every progress requires time, and then only it's a success; slow growth is always long-term."

"My goal is to continue to show up and put my best foot forward. I don't want to sleep with thoughts of what I could have done better or what I should have done better; instead, I prefer giving my best in whatever I am doing and sleeping peacefully. My mantra is to be peaceful and keep surrendering," she added.
The entertainment industry gives success, name, fame, and money, and Rinku prefers the whole package deal instead of choosing one over the other. She said, "When we talk about success, name, fame, and money—these are what everyone aims for in professional life. For me, I think it’s a complete package deal. When you get success, you get a name, you get fame, and money definitely follows."
"So I feel all of these are equally important to me. You can’t say you want success but not name everything that goes hand in hand. It is extremely important for me to keep feeling appreciated for my work and for my growth," she added.
Also, the industry doesn't have a set routine, because of which health and personal life often take a back seat. But for Rinku, planning and discipline can help one with this. She said, "I guess one has to do a bit of planning and discipline. That is most important. My day starts at 5:30 in the morning by doing my yoga from 6 to 7, then heading back home, getting dressed, doing my pooja and everything, having my breakfast, and leaving for work, reporting at work at 9 a.m."
"I guess it is time management at the end of it. And you have to do what you have to do, so you must have discipline," she added.
If she had to give advice to her younger self, she shared it would be to be happy. She added, "You need peace on an honest basis. I will be giving myself love."
Advice to others? "The best advice I can give to anybody in any career they follow is to do it because you love it. And if you love it and you are passionate about it, everything will fall into place, because your sincerity and honesty towards your work and your talent, whatever that may be, will be excellent," she said.
"I can say that I am crazy about what I do. I love what I do. I love acting. I cannot think of doing anything else. I feel I was born to do this, and I am very passionate about it. Sometimes I feel, my God, there is so much to learn, so much to do, and so much I haven’t done yet, and I really want to. So yes, just be passionate and love what you are doing," Rinku ended.
