Exclusive - Sanam Johar on reaching the finale of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10: I played safe initially, for I didn't want to push Rubina Diliak

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa's 10th edition has been quite a comeback for the celebrity dance reality show after 5 years and the finalists are gearing up for their big performance later this week.
Choreographer and actor Sanam Johar and Rubina Dilaik's pair is one of the finalists this season, Sanam had also been a finalist previously at a couple dance reality show.
Rubina and Sanam have had quite a journey on the show with many hits and also a few misses.With Rubina's injury, a few prop malfunctions, the two managed to ace every act and make it to the finale.
Sanam reveals how he's grown together with Rubina on the show and how he did not push his best acts in the start of the show, "We always save the best for the last. Having said that, I played safe initially because I did not want to push her. She was always a brilliant performer but now she's also a trained dancer, even if I push her in a deep well, she will emerge to the surface. She's patiently learnt the nuances of dancing and also has worked immensely hard. We are now ready to burn the dance floor."
"I'm nervous but also excited. In fact this week is emotional for us. It will be the last of everything, one last performance, one last day of rehearsals. The past few months were maddening. We met every single day, worked together, shared happiness and also disappointments. Right now our focus is on giving our best & bringing the trophy home. I'm manifesting it every single day," Sanam shares
Apart from Rubina-Sanam, other pairs who will be seen competing for the finale are Faisal Shaikh-Vaishnavi, Gashmeer Mahajani- Romsha, Nishant Bhat-Anuradha.
