Talking about it, he says, “Yes, it is the second time I am doing a historical show. But, even as I gave the look test for the show, I fell in love with the story during narration. I feel that it will captivate the audience, because the story works on many different levels and the characters in the show are rich and vibrant. The character that I play I play is crucial to the story and it challenges the actor in me. After that, it was hard to not do the show."
Sharing some more details about the show, Gurpreet reveals, “The show will be shot at real locations. For now, the actors have been undergoing training sessions in various arts because that’s the demand of the script. To top it all, it will be telecast in 60 countries other than India.
