Hard work pays off for newbie Sahil Uppal

Delhi boy Sahil Uppal considers himself lucky to have been able to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor. He is currently seen in Channel V's show 'P.S. I Hate You' as Kabeer, who is dominated by his girlfriend. A character that will turn negative eventually. Interestingly, Sahil feels the character is quite similar to him in real life.

"Kabir is a rich, spoilt brat.He is model by profession and is a Casanova. I relate to my onscreen character, as I am also spoilt boy and a model,” says he. He was was offered the male lead opposite Chandni Bhagwanani in Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story, but it didn't materialise. He was disheartened as he couldn't bag the role even a mock shoot.
Sahil says, “At that time, I was sad as I wasn't shortlisted, but I started working harder and with God's blessings, I got the opportunity to play a prominent role on a show produced by the same production house and on the same channel. Another coincidence is that the show features Chandni again as the lead.”
