Himmanshoo Malhotra busts a sex trafficking scandal

Himmanshoo Malhotra, who was missing from television for a year, is back on the small screen.
After an appearance on an episode of Encounter recently, he’ll now be seen as a cop, who busts a sex racket in an episode of YehHaiAashiqui.
“I am playing a cop, who falls in a love with a girl, while exposing a scandal. The experience of shooting such a story is always an eye-opener,” says the actor.If there is anything that made him uncomfortable about the episode, it was the love track as he is paired with a much younger
ShivshaktiSachdev.

When asked as to why he went missing for a year, he replies, “After my father’s death last year, I had to take care of his business in Delhi. I also wanted to be with my mother.” Himmanshoo, who hails from Delhi, was first spotted in a talent show.
