Hunar Hali and Mayank Gandhi granted divorce, nine-year marriage ends

Hunar Hali and Mayank Gandhi were granted a divorce today, June 9, bringing their nine-year marriage to an end. The actress, who tied the knot with Mayank in 2016, had filed for divorce in September 2025. Incidentally, Hunar learnt that the decree had been granted while she was shooting for her show, Rimjhim – Choti Umar Bada Safar , and was visibly emotional.

A source reveals, “Hunar was in the middle of a scene when the court proceedings concluded. Since she was shooting, she couldn’t immediately check her phone. The moment the director called ‘cut’, she looked at the messages that had come in from her legal team informing her that the divorce decree had been granted. She was overwhelmed with emotion. The moment she read the message, she broke down in tears on set. Everyone around her understood what the day meant for her.”





While Hunar remained unavailable for comment, her lawyer, Rugved More, told us, “Yes, the divorce proceedings have now been formally concluded. Today, the Hon’ble Family Court allowed Ms. Hunar Hali’s petition and brought the matter to a legal close.”

He adds, “As is often the case in matrimonial disputes, there were certain issues relating to the divorce settlement that required resolution before the matter could be finalised. At one stage, those issues necessitated revisiting certain aspects of the process. Hunar’s focus has been on seeking an amicable and lawful resolution rather than engaging in public discourse. However, through continued discussions and legal engagement, the parties were able to arrive at revised terms, and modified consent terms were ultimately filed before the Court. With those issues resolved, the Court was pleased to grant the reliefs sought, thereby bringing the proceedings to a conclusion.”

On the professional front, while Hunar has been part of shows such as Patiala Babes, Paramavatar Shri Krishna, Tera Mera Saath Rahe and Deewani, Mayank has featured in projects including Adaalat, Teri Meri Gal Ban Gayi and Kaala Teeka.
