While TV gives you instant fame, this adulation, and love end with the show, says actress Imlie actress Megha Chakraborty. She adds, “Fiction show actors are recognised by their screen names and easily forgotten once the show winds up. Jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai. That’s how replaceable we are, and I have made peace with this fact. I am grateful for the social media boom, as it allows us to stay relevant and alive in people’s memories.”

She believes reality shows can change the game for an actor. She shares, “Reality shows serve as a platform to showcase your true self. I would love to participate in one and give the audience a glimpse of the real me. I love dancing and hope to be offered a dance reality show.”

Ask her whether she is keen on participating in Bigg Boss and she replies, “I think I am fit to participate in Bigg Boss because I love to talk. In a fun way, mujhe aag mein ghee daalna bhi pasand hai. While I would love to explore the non-fiction genre, it’s unfortunate that I haven’t been offered a reality show yet,” she replies.

Megha has been part of shows like Badii Devrani, Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par, Peshwa Bajirao, Krishna Chali London, and Kaatelal & Sons. While she is waiting to be offered a reality show like Bigg Boss, her Kaatelal & Sons co-actor Jiya Sharma is seen as one of the participants in the ongoing second edition of the OTT version of Bigg Boss.
