Indian Idol 15: Karisma Kapoor recalls getting free taxi rides abroad as perks of being Raj Kapoor's granddaughter

Karisma further added, "Hum sab ke saath aisa ek experience hua hai jahan humein Dada ji ke extra perks mile hain. Jab bhi hum foreign jaate hai jaise ki hum US mein hai toh hum taxi lete hain. Sometimes the taxi driver bahut friendly hotel hain, they ask mein where am I from and I tell them I am from India." (We've all had an experience where we got Dada ji's extra advantages. Whenever we travel abroad, such as in the United States, we use a taxi. Sometimes, the cab driver is quite friendly.)
Karisma Kapoor went on to explain that when she revealed herself to be Raj Kapoor's granddaughter, the driver searched the internet. As a result, she frequently received free trips.
