Indiawaali Maa

’. He plays the parallel lead in the show, which has

as the male lead.

Ask Abhishek what prompted him to take up the show, and he says, “When I got to know the character sketch of Sagar (his character), I got really excited, because he is totally unlike me. It’s fun tapping into the psyche of a character, who has nothing in common with you.”

Talking about his character, he shares, “Sagar is Rohan’s business partner. He helps Rohan in every step of the way, as he knows that if Rohan makes a profit, he would automatically benefit from it.”

Though a newcomer, Abhishek says that he didn’t feel left out on the set. “The entire team is very nice. It’s my first show, but each and every unit member made me feel really comfortable and welcome,” he says.

Finally, we ask him if he finds it tough to endure the long, hectic working hours that television is notorious for, and he replies, “Not at all! I have waited for this day to happen, so right now, I am living and enjoying every moment of it!”
