Insecure Meghna propels Aman's exit

With the introduction of Bhanupratap (Aman Verma), Malik found herself pitted against an equally popular actor. With his character gaining prominence, matriarch Ammaji started feeling insecure. And, if sources are to be believed, she actually asked the producers of the show to end Aman’s track. Informs a source, “Meghna wasn’t too happy with his track gaining importance. She doesn’t like it when the focus of the show shifts from herto any other character. Aman’s character will be killed by Ammaji on theshow in an action-filled sequence.” Talking about his sudden exit, Amansays, “Well, I have no clue myself. Honestly, the way in which the storywas proceeding, I didn’t see it coming. The character has a lot ofpotential and a lot more could be done with it. But I think at the end of theday, it’s the channel’s prerogative to decide on the fate of acharacter.” When asked if it has got anything to do with Meghna, the actorsaid, “I can’t comment on this.
