Karan V Grover and Poppy Jabbal, who tied the knot on May 31, had a reception party in presence of close friends and family members. The newlyweds looked resplendent in traditional Indian wear.

While Karan wore a beige floral embroidered kurta pyajama, new bride Poppy wore a bright red sari and gold choker necklace.

The couple had an intimate wedding in Chail, Himachal Pradesh. Shama Sikander with hubby James Miliron, Raai Laxmi, Sonnalli Seygall, Hanif Hilal, and many others attended the wedding.

Their friends shared beautiful pictures from the wedding. Initially, they all posted pictures of themselves from the hills but didn’t give a glimpse of the couple. Once Karan and Poppy made an official announcement on social media, their friends shared photos with the newlyweds.

Talking about the entire affair, Shama told BT, “Honestly, it feels unreal, as all of us had given up. Karan and Poppy have been dating for many years and we would often wonder when they planned to get married. They sprung the surprise on us over a video call, as Karan was in London back then and Poppy in Mumbai. That’s how we were invited. I actually thought they were joking and pulling a prank on James and me. It was so last minute that even we were taken by surprise.”
