Jay Soni gives a glimpse from his last shot on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai; writes ‘Socha tha kabhi alvida na kehna par…’

Jay Soni left quite a mark with his short stint as Abhinav in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The actor took to social media to share behind-the-scenes moments from his final few shots in the show.
In the final scenes, Jay’s character Abhinav falls off a cliff. Sharing how the video was shot, Jay wrote a heartfelt note.
The note read: "Jo aata hai, usse ek na ek din Jaana hi hota hai...Socha tha kabhi alvida na kehna, par alvida toh kehna hi padta hai... Sharing some glimpses from the final moments on set...Encapsulating the energy, the sweat, and the emotions that filled the set!"

Talking about his exit from the show, Jay had previously told BT, “Soon after the exit was announced, I got many messages from people expressing shock and sadness. But, I feel it is time now to move on. The fact that viewers still saw scope in my character and felt that there is more to be explored around it, is a compliment and I would not have wanted to leave the show when it was over time. Also, it was good that my character was not turned negative or a psychopath.”
The show features Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod in the roles of Abhimanyu and Akshara. Jay Soni joined the cast after a major leap in the show and was playing Akshara’s husband and Abhir’s adoptive father. He entered the show last year.
