The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 started with rollover contestant Biplab Biswas, a CRPF officer. Biplab had won Rs 1 crore in the previous episode and was all geared up to face the Rs 7 crore question in the recent one. The show started with host Amitabh Bachchan welcoming the audience. He praised Biplab Biswas for supporting the education of four girls and helping them build a stable life.
Big B then resumed the game and presented the question for Rs 7 crore. Playing more than half a century before India's famed spin quartet, who among these was not part of South Africa's spin quartet in cricket? He decides to quit the show as he is not confident about the answer. He mentions that he doesn't want to take a risk as Rs 1 crore is a huge amount. Before leaving Mr. Bachchan asks Biplab to take a guess and he selects Option D) Gordon White, but the answer turns out to be incorrect. The correct answer is Option C) Jimmy sinclair.
Biplab took home a prize money of Rs 1 crore and a brand new car.

While answering the question, he said, "I don't want to waste anyone's time. I will say Option D)." In fact, he also knew the steers man's name who operated the ship. Biplab left host Amitabh Bachchan shocked as he answered the Rs 1 crore question swiftly without any problem.
The winner is a CRPF inspector currently posted in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Before the quiz began, he spoke with emotion about the tough conditions, sacrifices, and risks faced by security forces while serving the country in dense jungle regions. His heartfelt words deeply moved Amitabh Bachchan, who went on to comfort him on stage.
