Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: Gashmeer Mahajani, Abhishek Kumar and Krishna Shroff join the top 5 finalists; Niyati, Sumona and Nimrit get evicted
Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 is gearing up for its grand finale. Today's (September 22) episode featured tough stunts and shocking eliminations as the show unveiled its top five contestants. After strong competition from Krishna Shroff, Niyati Fatnani, Abhishek Kumar, Sumona Chakravarti, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Gashmeer Mahajani advanced to the season's third final, while Niyati and Nimrit were eliminated.
The first Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 stunt of the day involved all candidates save finalists Shalin Bhanot and Karan Veer Mehra, and it was a height stunt in which Gashmeer Mahajani attacked Niyati, resulting in her elimination.
In the next stunt, Abhishek, Sumona, Krishna, and Nimrit competed in a high-voltage electricity challenge, pushing each other to their limits. Abhishek Kumar outperformed the competition, earning a berth as the fourth finalist. Meanwhile, Nimrit and Krishna defeated Sumona, leading in her elimination from the show.
The final stunt pitted Krishna Shroff against Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia in a water battle. Krishna finished the challenge in 1 minute and 53 seconds, beating Nimrit's time of 4 minutes and 52 seconds. Nimrit's defeat ended her run on the show, and Krishna became the season's fifth finalist.
Shalin Bhanot was announced as the second finalist in yesterday's broadcast, following Karan Veer Mehra. Shalin, Gashmeer, and Niyati competed against one another. Niyati only managed to grab two flags, while Gashmeer started strong but lost his footing after the third flag.
Shalin Bhanot surprised everyone by performing really well, gathering all five flags and flawlessly executing the task. This secured the former Bigg Boss 16 contestant's berth as the season's second finalist.
The grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 will telecast on September 28, 2024. During the finale, Bollywood actresses Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina will be seen promoting their film Jigra.
