Kruttika Desai to return as the vicious saas again, but she says it’s different!

The possibility of getting offered stereotypical roles is higher in TV shows, specially when you have successfully portrayed a particular character so well.
Kruttika Desai, who played the bald woman Ekadish with a vengeance, in the show 'Uttaran', will be back with a new show, 'Mere Angne Mein'. And this time too, she will play the saas who will create drama in the family to get her ways around.

While the role sounds similar to what Krutika did in 'Uttaran', the actress has a different viewpoint.She says, 'If you look at it that way, then all the shows and all the roles are similar on TV. What more can you ask for? But my role here is not that of a crass and dominating saas which I played earlier. I am in love with my daughter here more than the son. The saas here is vulnerable so she does a lot of drama. And honestly speaking, I love playing the saas who does this drama.'
Kruttika also recalled her days when she acted in 'Buniyaad' many, many years back. She says, 'I might play this strong, dominating and vicious woman on TV, but I connect the most with Mangla of Buniyaad. I am more like that in real life.'
