Actor Gautam Nain, who was previously seen in TV show, Kumkum Bhaygya playing the role of Rishi is happy to introduce his parents and siblings to the world of entertainment. The actor had cast them in a song directed by him also featuring 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' fame Mohammad Nazim Khilji and model Mahi Chaudhary.
He said, "As I'm on a break from acting and exploring the profession of direction.
My recent song Bagula, was shot in my hometown itself in Basi, Baghpat. So we need an elderly couple to appear for a few seconds in the song. Hence I thought to cast my parents and make them act. My mom (Sudesh Devi) and dad (Rajkumar Nain) enjoyed shooting process and acted so well that I would love to work more with them. My dad is a retired officer and mom is a housewife. Apart from them I also got on board, my sister (Rooma Singh) and brother Vishal, who's into Haryana Police. They all loved the experience of my profession."
The actor also spoke about exploring the opportunities of directions.
He said, "After essaying different roles in television shows and music videos, organising events in Indonesia along with my wife (Foreign actress Soffie Marchu) and previously hosting a celebrity chat show. I wanted to do something different and new. Hence direction was the idea in mind to pursue. I guess this will enhance my acting abilities. I came up with a concept of the song, and I'm glad that today it's streaming. I hope the audience shows me the same love and support."
Talking about returning to acting, Gautam, who has also acted in shows like ‘Chandra Nandini', ‘Waaris’ among others added, "The actor inside me will always be alive and I never take my acting skills for granted. I worship this art and always crave to grow more versatile. After doing TV shows, I don't want to repeat myself. I look to explore if anything very interesting comes my way I'll for sure lock it, be it on any platform say TV, OTT or Bollywood movies. I would love to act."
The song 'Bagula' is sung, composed and written by popular singer Aditya Kalkal and was choreographed by Arizona Sonu.
