Kushal Tandon decided to quit social media and informed everyone about the same by sharing a post. Kushal shared the news with his fans through an Instagram post on Friday (September 3) morning. He urged everyone to behave more humanely and socially in their families.
The Beyhadh actor is reportedly disappointed with the media coverage of his friend and actor Sidharth Shukla’s death.
He wrote, "Off this so-called social media.. Until then stay human in 'social' and in your family."
In another Instagram story, Kushal slammed actors visiting Sidharth’s house after his demise just to get clicked. He mentioned that everything that is happening after Sidharth's death has left him feeling disgusted. He stated that if his fellow actors and colleagues really want to pay their respect, they would not be busy making it an opportunity to be clicked by taking off their masks for the media. The actor even apologised to Sidharth and wished peace for his soul.
He wrote, "Hang your head in shame", wrote Kushal before concluding, "Disgusted with everything that is going on. If u really wanna pay respect say a lil prayer for the departed soul, rather than making this an opportunity to be clicked! #Youknowwhoyouare #Sad I am sorry sid! rest in peach super star." (sic)
Sidharth and Kushal have been friends for a while now. The late actor had also attended the launch party of Kushal's restaurant in Mumbai.
Sidharth passed away in Mumbai on September 2, due to heart attack. He was 40 year old and is survived by his mother and two sisters.
