In the latest episode of Mahabharat, Duryodhan asks Ashwathama to kill the Pandavas. Ashwathama, Kripacharya and Kritavarma arrive at the Pandava camp at midnight and find Dhristadyumna and Draupadi's five sons sleeping. Duryodhana dies on the war ground and Sanjay informs Dhritrashtra about his son's death on the battlefield.

Draupadi cries over the corpses of her sons and asks the Pandavas who killed them and Arjun says that the arrow lying there belongs to Ashwathama.
Draupadi asks them to kill Ashwathama. Lord Krishna tells them that it is impossible because Ashwathama has the blessing of being immortal. He visits Rishi Vyas' ashram and he is asked to repent for his wrong deeds as he killed Pandavas' sons and not the Pandavas.
Arjun arrives at the ashram and a war starts between Ashwathama and Arjun. Rishhi Vyas requests Ashwathama to not use his Brahmastra as it will destroy the universe.
At the Pandavas' camp, Utara is grieving for her son's loss in the womb itself. Vasudev makes her son alive.
Pandavas go to meet Dhritrashtra and the latter gives a cold hug to everyone but tries to crush Bhim. Lord Krishna makes Bhim aware and asks to place an iron statue in his place. Dhritrashtra feels happy that he killed Bhim but Krishna informs him that he was bluffed and Bhim is alive.
