Masterchefs on Mumbai streets
After last week’s double elimination on 'MasterChef Kitchen Ke Superstar', the jury is out for some fun. This week, they will celebrate Mumbai’s street food – from Pani Puri to the 13-layered Falooda. Tonight, the heat will turn up when the judges announce that the dishes will not be cooked in the MasterChef kitchen, but instead, at the buzzing Juhu Chowpatty in Mumbai.

The contestants will be divided into two teams – Red and Blue. They will be asked to run two stalls at the Chowpatty, with each team having to whip up Noodles, Frankie and Pav Bhaji. In an unexpected twist, they are not going to be judged on how much money they make. Instead, it will all depend on how many ‘khushi-ki-ghantis’ they manage to acquire. (If a customer is happy, he/she will ring the bell – khushi-ki-ghanti – tied to each stall.) The team to bag the first 100 khushi-ki-ghantis will win the challenge.
MasterChef Kitchen Ke Superstar airs tonight at 8 on Star Plus.
