Mohit Sehgal out of his TV show 'Sarojini'

And the latest actor to face the brunt of it is Mohit Sehgal, the male lead of 'Sarojini' — he is out of the show. While the makers say that his exit was always a part of the original plan, Mohit says he wasn’t informed about it. “I was kept in the dark.I learnt about it only while reading my death sequence in the script recently. The production house had been conducting look tests for the new hero for some time. It’s so strange that the one who is being bumped off is not even informed about it. I am a thorough professional and would have still shot my portion had they told me about the change in the story in advance,” he says

So, what could possibly be the reason behind his sudden ouster? “Perhaps to add some kind of shock value to boost the ratings. A few weeks ago, they told me about a possible time leap and I refused to be part of it. I don’t think I should play a father so soon in my career,” he says.
